Getting Accurate Exposure
In this course, you will learn the main objectives for getting accurate exposure with your camera.
Lesson 1- What The Heck Is ISO?
In this lesson, you are introduced to ISO, what it does, and how to use it when shooting photos. You will learn how to determine what the best ISO setting is for the environmental elements you are shooting in and what you hope to achieve in the process. You will learn how the lighting can determine the ISO you should use and how the camera does this automatically. Pro tips are included and will help to offer the best outcome with your final images no matter what the photo conditions.
Lesson 2- Aperture 101
In this lesson, you are introduced to what the aperture is and how to use it based on your desired outcome for your photograph. I share the basic concepts behind how to choose and set the lens settings to achieve different effects within your image. I offer insight into Depth of Field and how it can affect the sharpness of a photograph. I go over how the camera determines the aperture setting in conjunction with other settings in order to properly expose a photo. You are introduced to f/stops and how they differ when shooting pictures.
Lesson 3- Shutter Speed
In this lesson, you are introduced to how adjusting the shutter and choosing the proper shutter speed will affect your overall image. I share how you can create motion within your photographs depending on the choice of shutter speed You will learn how the camera determines the proper shutter speed setting in conjunction with other settings in order to properly expose a photo.
