One Hour, Three Kinds Of Light Stop Shooting. Start Seeing. = free w/code from video
https://payhip.com/b/WCAOa
Ecuador: The Pacific Coast Region
Digital = https://payhip.com/b/WCAOa
Print = https://www.blurb.com/user/sophoto

One hour on a dock in Ecuador taught me more about light than years of gear ever did. Light changes everything—even when you don't get to pick it. In one hour on the Ecuadorian coast, three different lights told three different stories, all in the same place.

In this video, I break down the different directions of light — side, front, back, and rim — using real travel photos and a simple bottle demo, plus what to do when you're stuck shooting in harsh midday sun.

*Transforming your photography by learning to see what light is actually offering, not just waiting for "good" light
*Handling harsh or flat midday light with practical techniques for people and landscapes
*Understanding the four main directions of light and how each shapes mood, dimension, and emotion
*Exploring real-world exercises to train your eye to spot shifts in color, intensity, and direction
*Embracing imperfect conditions and finding hidden opportunities in whatever light you have

This is the foundation of everything I teach: learn to see the light, see differently, see the depth.

After 30 years of shooting headshots, here's the thing nobody teaches you: posing isn't about angles, it's about body language. In this video, I break down how the leg someone favors connects to how they naturally tilt their head, why silence makes people more uncomfortable in front of a camera, and a simple face-symmetry exercise I learned in college that changes how you see anyone's best side.

04:38 Photography technique and subject interaction

Stop letting administrative tasks steal your creative energy. If you are a solo creator juggling a podcast, YouTube channel, and social media without a team, you know that time is your most valuable resource. In this video, I am breaking down the five essential software tools I use every week to reclaim hours of my life.

I used to think advanced software was only for people with big budgets and huge teams, but I quickly learned that having great ideas is not the same as having enough time to execute them. I am walking you through my personal workflow, starting with how I capture messy thoughts and ending with how I turn one long video into dozens of social media assets.

We will dive into Letterly for voice-to-text ideas, BigView for seamless teleprompting, and CastMagic for turning audio into blog posts and show notes. I also share how I use Taja and Minvo to handle SEO and repurpose long-form content into high-performing shorts and reels. These tools do not replace my creativity; they simply clear the space for it to thrive.

Whether you are a photographer, writer, or podcaster, these apps help you manage the business side of content creation without losing your mind. I am also sharing a free breakdown of these tools below, including what I use them for and what features you can skip.

Chapters
0:00 The Reality of Being a Solo Creator
2:15 Letterly: Capturing Ideas Anywhere
4:30 BigView: Scripting and Teleprompting
6:45 CastMagic: Turning One Recording into Everything
9:15 Taja: SEO and Smart Content Repurposing
11:00 Minvo: Data-Driven Shorts and Editing
12:10 Final Thoughts on Creative Time

If you are ready to stop spending your evenings formatting notes and start making more art, check out the links in the description to explore these tools. Let me know in the comments which part of your workflow you hate the most so we can find a tool to fix it together.
